The last two weekends saw three prestigious Greater Manchester National Qualifier competitions take place and Woodley Bowlers continued to top the tables and bring home the trophies!
On Saturday 2nd December, we saw Angharad Brideaux (Woodley Sports), Peter Roberts (Woodley Sports) and Paul & Angela Norbury (Brinnington) win the event. Then on Sunday 10th December we saw Annabelle Almond of Woodley Sports bring home the trophy for the Under 18s Singles in the morning before going on to join Woodley Sports fellow bowlers, Dave Almond and Steven & Angela Roberts in the afternoon to win the Mixed Fours event.
All these bowlers have secured a place in the ESMBA National finals events next year in Melton Mowbray and Solihull and we’ll be rooting for them!
